HYDRO DOTS

iOS App

Drink a glass,
watch it rise.

Tap once and the water fills a little further. Hydro Dots shows how much you have had today as a water level you can read at a glance, not a number you have to parse.

Log it

Keeping a habit starts with making the first tap cheap.

One tap to log

Glass, mug or bottle — press and it is in. Amount and drink can be changed afterwards.

Hydration by drink

Coffee, tea and sports drinks count through their beverage hydration index. Add your own kinds, and hide the ones you never use.

Water that follows the device

Tilt the phone and the surface tilts with it. Turn it off in settings if you would rather it stayed level.

Let the goal adapt

How much you should drink is not the same every day.

Automatic adjustment

Starts from body weight, then adds for temperature, humidity, UV, activity and caffeine. Every coefficient is explained in the app.

Settled once a day

The adjusted goal is fixed at the first launch of the day, so your progress does not drift every time you open the app.

Reminders

A few gentle nudges during your waking hours, and a weekly recap at the start of the week.

Look back

See the streak you have built and how you actually drink.

History

Weekly bars, a breakdown by drink, and the times of day you tend to reach for something. Delete any single entry.

Streak

Grows for every day you hit the goal. It is counted without a fixed window, so it stays correct after years of records.

Monthly recap

The month's total, re-told as bottles, kettles and sugar cubes.

Beyond the app

The less you have to open it, the longer the habit lasts.

Widgets

Today and this month, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. Log straight from the button, and set its amount and drink by long-pressing.
